(More customer reviews)This 19 inch Haier is our first HD and purchased for a small room.Sound and picture (even non-HD) are very good. Good contrast when viewing at eye level or lower but picture was too light when TV was originally placed on a high shelf. The analog (non-HD) picture is smaller and does not fill the already small screen, cutting off some 1.5 inches on each side and resulting in a 16 inch diagonal viewing area.If I had known this before purchase, I might have gone for 21 inch.
